I had the pleasure of working with David Laster from Scout Plumbing Heating and Air on three different projects: fixing the hot water in my shower, repairing a leaking outside faucet, and fixing a toilet. From the start, communication was excellent. David provided clear and detailed estimates for each job, which gave me confidence in the pricing and scope of work. When it came time to do the work, he was skilled, professional, and efficient. His expertise also came in handy when he identified a code issue with my hot water tank and took care of the repair. Every thing was top notch! Customer service is not dead. The technician was very attentive to my description of the leak under my concrete. He found the exact spot that we needed to excavate. I was not disappointed and will call them in the future for any issues I might have.

I do not recommend this company. We had a mini split heating and cooling unit installed for our addition on the house. The crew initially installed the unit on the side of the house with huge brackets that were an eye sore without even asking us first. When we asked them to move it to the ground they complained and tried to charge us for the extra work. They left the drill holes in the mortar. They installed the unit with about 4’ of extra slack in the tubing. When we asked if they could shorten it & clean it up they told us they couldn’t. Fast forward 11 months during the freezes we got, the unit stopped working. We called a tech to come out and look at it and he told us it was because the air filter was dirty. The unit continued to work improperly so we had another company come look for a second opinion. The new company was shocked to see the entire outside panel wasn’t even installed to code. They also found a loose wire in the attic hookup that wasn’t plugged in correctly. Lastly, they trimmed the 4’ of extra slack and said that was easy. We come to find out, the system isn’t working like we thought it should because it was putting itself into defrost mode. The new company told us exactly why that was happening after doing a thorough check of the whole system. They said the only way to prevent it was to hook it up to the gas line. However Scout never told us that was an option when they installed it. Do not use this company, they take short cuts and the techs are lazy.

I was impressed with the work they did. I had a leak in the main water line, they repaired it RIGHT, unlike the last guy, then tested the system so we were sure it was secure. Only been two weeks, but no issues. Would highly recommend.

We have used Scout Plumbling several times lately. And we've been pleased with each job they have done for us . In December we used Scout Plumbing at my brother's property . that started out as a leak and water damage from in the kitchen , which David Lassiter came out and repaired . And then , David also went under the house and repaired all leaks that was noted as caused by tree roots . We were very pleased with all his work and the way he explained everything to us . And then David came back in January and replace a toilet for us . He was always very polite and professional, Joseph came out last week and repaired a sprinkler system leak at our house . He did a great job. Joseph was very polite and professional. Suzanne is always helpful to us as well.

Had a broken hose bib replaced because it would not turn off and then asked to have a second hose bib inspected and it was determined that it needed to be replaced also. David L. was efficient, quick, and was focused on doing a good job by ensuring that an existing problem with the original installation was corrected. This is the third time in less than a year that we have used Scout Plumbing to address our plumbing needs.

The service representative was very thorough. Excellent in service. Left area he worked in clean. Represented himself and Scouts Plumbing in a very professional manner. Very pleasant experience.

I’ve used their services twice this year. Great experience each time and I recommend them highly! Good experience over the internet, by phone and when they did the work. Good job Scout plumbing, heating and air! I will use you again in future.
